[NEWS] 130520 Former Head of Block B′s Former Agency Found Dead on May 20
A source close to the deceased told enews on May 21, “[The former agency head] Mr. Lee committed suicide in the basement of his home on May 20. He was found dead by a friend, and the wake is currently underway.”
The wake started at a hospital in Seoul since the evening of the day he was found dead. The coffin will be borne out on May 22.
Mr. Lee gathered much attention as an important official in the charges Block B had brought against its agency.
On January 3, the group had filed for the cancellation of its contract against Stardom Entertainment. Block B had asserted that Stardom had failed to pay it a year′s worth of profits, and that Mr. Lee had received 70 million won from the members′ parents and disappeared.
Stardom Entertainment, however, had countered that it had never failed to pay the members, and that there was a mastermind behind the members.
It seems Mr. Lee came to kill himself as he suffered while the case continued to go on.

Can Block B never catch a break? It has been a constant shitstorm since debut and it hurts my heart knowing that these 7 guys are being blamed for the suicide of Stardom’s former CEO. How the hell can you pin that man’s suicide on them?
They filed a lawsuit. What was their crime in that? The fact that people are telling Block B to disband again and are calling them murderers is really pissing me off! I am LIVID… and I am shaking because that is how angry I am right now. I have been a fan of them since Day 1 and it has been hard watching these guys struggle with scandal after scandal, especially when a lot of these scandal’s are misunderstandings.
It’s not fair. It’s never been fair for them. And I don’t want to sound cliche and say they are cursed, but sometimes it seems like that. They’ve only been around 2 years and they’ve had so many struggles as a group already. It’s really sad that their image is spoiled again because of this when it’s not even their fault.
They are not murderers and they should not be blamed for this man’s suicide. It amazes me how some people can accuse a group of guys over a man’s suicide so easily with no solid evidence. It’s bullshit.
On another note, R.I.P to Mr. Lee and BBC’s stay strong because Block B will need us to be strong for them.
